46 Highlight 3D Elements

Welcome to this demonstration on Bonus Tools – Highlight 3D Elements.

This tool allows you to Highlight 3D elements across a project by parameter values.

This Tool is available for Revit 2013 and newer versions of Revit.

  1. To run the tool, navigate to the Bonus Tools Tab and select Highlight 3D Elements.
  2. Highlight Elements

  3. The Highlight 3D Elements dialog will appear.

  5. Choose the selection set: Current View, Current Selection or Entire Project to filter the Text selection.

  7. Choose the Category.

  9. Choose the Parameter you wish to highlight.

  11. For each value found across all Elements of the selected Category, will be enter in the grid.

  13. Choose to colour the Fill Colour and/or the Line Colour when cut.

  15. Choose to colour the Fill Colour and/or the Line Colour in projection.
  16. 46 Highlight 3D Elements

  17. Choose the colour for each Parameter Value by clicking the coloured buttons.
  18. 46 Highlight 3D Elements

  19. Select a colour.
  20. 46 Highlight 3D Elements

  21. Click Ok.
  22. Isolate the Category and view the hightlights.
  23. Note: Highlight 3D Elements Overrides Graphics in View.
