86 Rename number Sheets

Welcome to this demonstration on Bonus Tools – 86 Rename number Sheets. This tool allows you to quickly rename and number Sheets.

1. To run the tool, navigate to the Bonus Tools Tab and select Rename number Sheets.

2. 

3. The Rename number Sheets dialog will appear.

4. 

5. Search/filter sheets by:
   1. Selecting a Parameter to search by.

   2. 

   3. Entering text to search by.

   4. 

   5. And clicking Search Sheets.

   6. 

      Note: if no text is entered and Search Sheets is clicked, then all Sheets will be returned, on a large Project this may take some time to populate all Parameters in the Grid.

      

6. Once the Grid is loaded:
   1. Choose a desired Titleblock.

   2. 

   3. Renumber Sheets by highlighting the Sheets.

   4. 

   5. Right click and select Rename Selected.

   6. 

   7. Enter:
      1. A Start Character.
      2. Increment value.
      3. Prefix.
      4. Suffix.

      5. 

   8. Click Ok.

   9. 

      Note: You can compare the Existing with the new.

   10. Modify all other Parameters by highlighting the cells.

   11. 

   12. Right click and select Rename Selected.

   13. 

   14. Enter a new Value and Click Ok.

   15. 

   16. Once complete, click Ok to the Change Parameters dialog.

   17. 

7. Once completed you will be prompted with a confirmation.
8. And an output showing the updates to the Sheet Parameters.

9. 

10. View the Project Browser to confirm the new Sheets and Views.
