74 View Renamer

Welcome to this demonstration on Bonus Tools – 74 View Renamer. This tool allows you to name Views based on a set of criteria..

1. To run the tool, navigate to the Bonus Tools Tab and select View Renamer.

3. The View Renamer dialog will appear.

5. From the Views section:
   • Select the View Type.

6. 

   • Select a Search by Parameter (if you wish to search/filter Views).

7. 

   • Enter a Search string.

8. 

   • Select the views to Rename.

9. 

10. Choose to any combination of:
    • Rename Views.
    • Rename Views and Rename Title on Sheets.
    • Rename Title on Sheets.

12. Select a Case Option:
    • No Change.
    • UPPER CASE.
    • lower case.
    • Title Case.
    • Sentence case

14. Add/Remove rows to build up the new View name using the View Parameters.

16. Select Text Field to enter manual text.

18. Select Parameters you want to use in the new View Name like Associated Level.

    Note: You can use Move Up and Move Down to reorder the selected Parameters.

22. At the base of the Grid is an example of the new View name.

24. You can also manipulate the Existing View name if selected by:

    1. Replacing the text ABC with new text DEF

    2. 

    3. Cropping the left n Chars 1

    4. 

    5. Cropping the right n Chars 1

    6. 

    7. Crop at position 2 the next n chars 2

    8. 

    9. Insert before Prefix

    10. 

    11. Insert after Suffix

    12. 

    13. Insert at position 5 the next text Middle

    14. 

26. Once selection are made, click Ok.

28. You will be prompted with a confirmation of the number of Passes and Fails.
