45 Renumber Parameter

Welcome to this demonstration on Bonus Tools – Renumber Parameter.

This tool allows you to Renumber any Text, Integer, Number or Length Parameter.

This Tool is available for Revit 2012 and newer versions of Revit.

1. To run the tool, navigate to the Bonus Tools Tab and select Renumber Parameter.

3. The Renumber Parameter dialog will appear.

4. 

5. Choose the Category you wish to renumber.

6. 

   Note: This is a list of all Categories in the Project.

7. Select Allow cross Category renumber if you would like to renumber

8. 

9. Choose the Parameter you would like to renumber.

10. 

11. Enter the Start Number.

12. 

13. Choose the Increment value.

14. 

15. Enter a Prefix if desired.

16. 

17. Enter a Suffix if desired.

18. 

19. Click Ok.
20. Once Ok is click the Revit window will come back into focus.
21. Select Elements of the chosen Category to renumber then.

22. 

23. As you select Elements, you will see the value update (if a tag is applied).

24. 

25. Select Esc to cancel the renumber command.
